Course Description

A two-day introduction to welding created just for women. Join women welders of all skill levels to learn the basics of Safety, Shielded Metal Arc Welding (Stick) and Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) with a female welding instructor.

  • Classes Held 8:00a.m.-3:00 p.m.
  • Lunch is included
  • All Personal Protective Equipment (including safety glasses, welding jacket, gloves and helmet) loaned by Lincoln Electric
  • Participants must wear their own steel-toed boots, long sleeved cotton shirts and long pants (no shorts allowed)
  • Must be 18 yrs or older

Minimum enrollment numbers must be met in order for Weld School or Seminar & Workshop trainings to be held.  Trainings with less than the required minimum enrollment are subject to cancellation or rescheduling at the discretion of the WTTC Program Manager, Business Manager, or Manager of Technical Services. Classes will be cancelled no less than fourteen (14) working days before the scheduled start day of class and enrollees will be contacted.

Weekend classes are held Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. 

What to Wear
All Personal Protective Equipment (including safety glasses, welding jacket, gloves and helmet) will be provided by Lincoln Electric. Participants must wear their own steel-toed boots, long sleeved cotton shirts and long pants (no shorts or capris permitted).

Without the proper attire, you will not be permitted on the weld floor (NO exceptions)

Payment
If you have not paid in full, the entire course fee is due prior to class start date.
