METAL101 - Weekend with Metal

Course Description

Join welders of all skill levels in a safe, relaxed atmosphere and take advantage of an affordable opportunity to learn the basics of welding. No experience necessary.

• Instruction covers Safety, Shielded Metal Arc Welding (Stick) and Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG)
• Lincoln Electric swag bag for all attendees
• Classes held 8:00a.m.-3:00 p.m. Saturday-Sunday
• All Personal Protective Equipment (including safety glasses, welding jacket, gloves and helmet) provided by Lincoln Electric
• Participants must wear their own steel-toed boots, long sleeved cotton shirts and long pants (no shorts or capris permitted)
• Participants must be 18 years old or older

Minimum enrollment numbers must be met in order for Weld School or Seminar & Workshop trainings to be held.  Trainings with less than the required minimum enrollment are subject to cancellation or rescheduling at the discretion of the WTTC Program Manager, Business Manager, or Manager of Technical Services. Classes will be cancelled no less than fourteen (14) working days before the scheduled start day of class and enrollees will be contacted.
